What do football, Linkedin and puppies have in common?

Here at Guzel, we are about to embark on a seven-day journey to support a cause (or two) that are meaningful. With the Superbowl coming up, that means so is the Puppy Bowl. We couldn’t help but give a shout-out to two local puppies participating in the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. The puppies, Wilbur and Cannon, two brothers born in Smithville last June were taken in by Bastrop-based animal welfare nonprofit Save an Angel. Facilities like Save an Angel humanely address the issues of animal control with spaying and neutering services and keep the community safe from dangerous animals. These facilities/organizations often commit to educating the local community on pet care, animal safety, immunizations and disease control.

So... while 40-50 million will watch with the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, several other million will be watching the Puppy Bowl. This viewership is a demonstration of how many people are passionate about animals.

Over the next several days – and beyond, we will share our favorite stories that demonstrate supporting community and animals. How will we do this as effectively as possible? We discovered the ultimate guide to impact our cause on LinkedIn. (Are you interested, learn more about this free LinkedIn program here.) Follow us on LinkedIn as we support animal shelters in Central Texas leading up to the Super Bowl and Puppy Bowl!
